Connecting my skills to the job: Instead of just saying I like computers, I used specific terms like “network infrastructures” and “troubleshooting”. I mentioned my Cisco Python Essentials 1 & 2 certificates to prove I have real, entry-level programming skills.

Concrete examples: I specifically talked about Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and the Python Standard Library. These are not just words; they are technical skills that recruiters look for to see if a candidate is ready for a technical role.

Professional awareness: I highlighted being “proactive” and having a “user support orientation”. I know that in IT, being good with people and solving their tech problems is just as important as the code itself.
